Alex Papas, a young Greek economist and politician, and an admirer of the Japanese system, working for the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development, had a vision, too: to modernize his country and place it next to developed countries. With the help of Yoko Temura, a beautiful Japanese woman, Papas is recruited by Fuji to perform an experiment: turn Greece into a little Japan.

When Papas party wins the election a few months later, Fujis experiment is underway. Greek institutions are modeled after those of Japan, and factories, banks and hotels are sold off to Japanese investors.
